Position Summary:
The Social Media Associate will enhance Ferrara’s consumer engagement through the execution of content and digital experience strategies across our portfolio of brands. This position will be the lead community manager for select brands and take an active presence in content development. They should know how to spot a trend and have the chops to create content themselves as well as work with creators and our agencies to ensure all content is consistent with our brand ethos and style. This role reports to the Director of Digital Engagement and along with peers support the content strategies across all our brands.

Drive community management with consumers and influencers. Be agile on the spot with your voice and tone. Do you have what it takes to be the voice of a worm? And then can you be agile enough to turn into a gen Z’er or millennial mom?
Serve as a lead trend spotter on a daily basis and determine what real-time content opportunities our brands should play into.
Oversee content development for monthly and quarterly social calendars across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok.
Spearhead social media executions and channel launches to put our brand at the forefront of culture.
Help us prove and improve! Partner with Insights team to use native platforms, social listening and reporting tools to help us analyze what worked and what didn’t. Analyze data to inform future platform, post type and audience recommendations.
Work with social media influencers as part of our brand fan program to spread word of mouth -- always making sure Ferrara brands show love to those who love us online. Develop influencer opportunities as needed. Always follows FTC guidelines.
Participate in social customer service efforts with third-party agency to ensure customer satisfaction is met through community management.
Manage library of in-house assets for use across omni-channel touch points.
Stay up to date on social platform, content and digital best practices and trends. Communicates trends to teams as appropriate. Always answer the questions – what’s next and so what?
Experiences That Will Support Your Success
Bachelor’s degree required
1 – 3 years in a social media, content or communications role
Experience planning and executing campaigns across online channels
Experience managing communities online, preferably multiple brands at once
Experience finding online trends and turning them into branded opportunities
Experience creating content and managing an online content calendar
Previous experience working at or with external agencies
Experience measuring and evaluating content across channels
Experience working within a dynamic cross-functional team environment, navigating objectives to drive priority and deliver breakthrough results
Skills That Will Make You Successful?
Highly proficient in the adobe Suite of Tools
Experience working with marketing analytics and social CMS tools (e.g.,Sprinklr, Netbase, Social Bakers, etc.)
Can write for Twitter and create for TikTok (and other channels)
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Exceptional collaboration skills
Excellent communication and influencing skills
High levels of energy, creativity and enthusiasm
Strong sense of ownership and accountability over results
